- Work directly with the golf course contact throughout the entire planning period to ensure all setup needs and services provided, to include:
- Develop 4some listing for course and for check-in
- Food & Beverage coordination
- Develop Time & Action for planning purposes and for day of event
- Coordinate a walk thru at the venue with the course representative prior to event
- Scripting for Welcome and for Luncheon/Dinner/Awards
- Coordinate Hole-in One contest, if applicable
- Coordinate hole contests and activities with the golf course
- Coordinate marketing through the golf course website, if possible
- Coordinate setup of registration, tables, chairs, breakfast, luncheon, golf carts, player gifts, etc.…
- Coordinate ball drop, if applicable
- Coordinate golf course & volunteers working the day of event
- Attend committee and/or board meetings via conference calls
- Handle RSVPs and invoicing for golfers
- Prepare agendas & create/distribute minutes to committee
- Provide update reports on as needed or regular time frames
- Assist with prize procurement
- Distribute thank you to all donors of door prizes following event.
- Assist with the “goodie” bag procurement and inserts
- Assist with development of sponsorship perks, if needed
- Assist with outreach for sponsorships
- Coordinate check-in the day of event
- Assist with any media outreach, if desired
- Assist with identification of signage needs for the tournament
- Day of event
- Communicate with the course on placement of such signage
- Coordinate all setup for registration
- Coordinate all setup on the course
- Coordinate all setup for the breakfast & luncheon after party
